Q: What are hair extensions?
This is adding hair to your own hair by means of fusion (strand by strand), weaving, braiding or bonding. There are many variations to all of these techniques and stylists call these by different names. I will be educating you on the most popular terms. Now clip ins are also called extensions. Extensions are usually applied by a stylist but many customers are doing this at home. Human hair extensions can be cut, curled and styled.

Q: What makes hope’s hair the best?
One company can be better than another and sell better hair. The most important things are choosing hair and the processing. Only the best raw hair is chosen before it is treated. This is high quality, healthy and strong hair. This produces a higher grade of extension hair that will last longer without tangling or drying. Processing is vital. Many companies process hair differently. Different processing makes different qualities of hair. We supply the worlds best hair.

Q: What is the difference between regular weft and micro thin hand tied weft?
Hand Tied:The wefts have been pre cut to approximately 10 inch pieces and have been sewn by hand to make the smallest wefting possible for the most invisible look. Pieces should not be cut or they will unravel. The smallness of the Hand tied weft is great for weaving. Hand tied hair can be cut from the weft to use for fusions.
Regular weft:this hair is not cut into pieces but is one continuous weft that can be cut. The weft is slightly larger than the hand tied. Our remi hair regular weft is also a very flat nice small weft. Hint: To help against shedding after you cut the weft add some bonding glue on the edges.


Q: How many pieces come with the hand tied?
Hair is measured by 113 gram. These pieces (approximately 10 inch) are hand sewn so the amount of hair in each piece can differ. How many pieces you receive also depends on the length you choose. You will get more pieces with 14-inch hair than you would 22-inch hair. Because of this we cannot give an exact amount but this is a very close guide:

18 inches 8 - 10 inch pieces
22 inches 6 - 10 inch pieces

Q: How to choose colors for me?
You may select colors from the color ring we sent you, or send us your color samples. Our technical worker can produce exact colors you ordered.

Q: How do I know what size to order?
Most of our wigs are available in an "average" size cap, but have adjustable straps inside to tighten or loosen the wig.
Some wigs come in a petite or large size cap. If there is no mention of the wig's size it is assumed the cap is of "average" size. Here below is the figures describing the sizes of the wig cap.

If there is a wig that you like and need it in a different size, please send us this as custom order. We can resize most of our wigs to fit any size head.

Q: What is the difference between synthetic hair and human hair?
Synthetic: easy to maintain (wash-and-wear), less expensive than human hair, easy to style, pre-styled
Human hair: more versatility, longer durability, custom styling available. You may use curling irons, steam rollers, hot rollers and blow dryers to change or enhance the style.


Q: Is human hair better than synthetic?
Not necessarily...choosing between a human hair wig and a synthetic wig is more of personal preference. For example, a person looking for a wig that is easy to maintain and less expensive would choose a synthetic wig...a person looking for a wig they plan on wearing everyday and that they can curl themselves would choose a human hair wig.
Keep in mind that just because human hair wigs cost more it does not mean they are the "better" wig to buy. Many times a high quality synthetic wig looks more realistic than a low quality human hair wig.


Q: How do I keep the wig on my head?
Our wigs have adjustable straps on the inside that may be tightened to hold the wig securely to your head. You may also purchase "snappy combs" (available through our catalog under "accessories") that may be sewn into the inside of the wig for additional security. These combs clip to your hair...they attach to very thin/fine hair and even short hair!
